About The Owner

I started this company in 2015 in effort to help our family eliminate debt! I never imagined it would be as big as it is today and growing by the week! I am a graduate of Kansas State University and am currently the Fiscal Manager at CASA of Shawnee County.  When I’m not busy with the activities of my three stepchildren, I am serving as the Vice President of Communications for the Junior League of Topeka as well as the Treasurer for the Seaman Athletic Booster Club. I have served on the Board of Directors for Kansas Ballet Company the Southwest Youth Athletic Association and am beginning my fourth year volunteering with Junior Achievement of Kansas as a classroom instructor.

My philosophy for TLJ Bookkeeping:

No business is created equal and neither are your books. I put my 14 years of expertise and experience to work for you, tailoring small business accounting services and bookkeeping packages to fit your company’s needs. Monthly, weekly and daily packages are available.

Although QuickBooks is designed for the layman to understand, the initial setup and installation and daily entries must be done correctly in order for information to be accurate. I regularly work with clients to clean up years of data that had they taken the right path in the beginning, they wouldn’t be dealing with. I teach clients in a one on one setting, with their own data. It is a firm belief that the client will better retain and understand the accounting processes within QuickBooks in this teaching environment.

Even companies with in house bookkeeping tend to outsource their payroll. Why not reduce the time you are spending on payroll-related activities like running payroll, adding employees, updating employee information, and mailing pay stubs. Reduce unnecessary expenses by letting me be your payroll autopilot.
